WHAT MAKES NARROW FABRICS DIFFERENT?
As an independent sales group we have the advantage of decades of product knowledge, and the ability to work with multiple resources for the correct fit between vendor and customer.
AM I WORKING WITH YOU OR THE VENDOR?
You will purchase from the Vendor, but we will do the quoting, sampling, arrange for payment and shipping, and provide any required paperwork, as an agent for the vendor .
WHO PAYS FOR YOUR SERVICE?
There is no cost to the customer. We work for the vendor, and advocate for the customer, the relationship continues unless you prefer to work directly with the vendor.
WHAT DOES "ADVOCATE FOR THE CUSTOMER" MEAN?
Narrow Fabrics will negotiate price on your behalf, help set up programs, coordinate secondary production taskes like cutting, tipping and labor.
IS NARROW FABRICS JUST A MIDDLEMAN?
No we provide what is missing in business to business sales, old fashioned customer service, from design, to purchase, to delivery and re-order.
HOW DO WE WORK WITH YOU?
The way you the customer are most comfortable, on the phone, through email and in person if necessary. we still take faxes if that's what you have. But not on the Web.
WHY DON'T YOU SELL ON YOUR WEB SITE?
Much of what we sell is custom or a part of a project, and we are adept at making sure that all the detail work is done, at all stages of the process from design to delivery. That requires personal connections.
HOW DO I USE THIS WEB SITE?
Scroll through the galleries, get ideas, look at the materials used and design your own product and brand. If you need product for assembling or custom sizes or colors we can work with you to locate the correct goods, and the right fabrication. It is a process, and we will walk you through it.
SAMPLES AND COLOR CARDS
All our vendors can supply samples of products that are shelf stock for trying and testing. We do not charge for these kind of samples. Many color cards are also
free of charge, but the vendors will only mail them so if you need a faster delivery please give us your freight account.
CUSTOM LOGO PRODUCTS AND ART
Any logo product will require Copy Ready Art to size with one repeat in an AI, EPS or VECTOR File. Simple Black on White with reference to pantone colors is prefered.
Custom ordered products will require an approval sample before production can begin. All custom projects are by quote only.
DUPLICATING SAMPLES
Send us your samples and let us locate a vendor who can design and duplicate to your specifications. Just because you do not see what you need, does not mean that we cannot get it or make it.
CUSTOM DYED TO MATCH COLORS
Most of our vendors offer dyed to match services on woven products, but there are always dye lot minimums. A few of the mills offer half or quarter dye lot sizes for a premium.
Dyed to match colors are usually dyed to Pantone colors.
In all cases an approval sample will be submitted and must
be approved before production will begin.
CUTTING, TIPPING, LAMINATING, AND ADHESIVES
Our vendors offer Hot Cut, Cold Cut, cord Tipping and Barbing and U-pins. Ribbons and tapes can be coated with pressure sensitive or heat activated adhesives. We
can also do reflective laminate and extrude adhesives on products up to 6" wide.
COMPLIANCE AND CERTIFICATIONS
If you need any applicable Certifications such as Berry Amendment, NAFTA, MIL SPEC, Country of Origin, Certificate of Conformance, or product specifications, just let us know. All testing for the product tolerances must be done by the purchaser.
